Purchased this based upon listening to Boyfriend Material, a little reluctant because of how much I’d enjoyed the story of Luc anf Oliver…and thinking this may be a let down after that. Was I ever right! Maybe if I’d listened to this series first I might feel differently, but doubtful.
Starting with the narration, to be fair, it would be tough to top Joe Jameson’s performance…so will give that one a pass.
I made it through the first BJ on the balcony, and gave up. If I’d stuck with it a little linger it may have grown on me, but ultimately I didn’t care about these characters enough to invest the time. Actually I didn’t care about them at all, which was probably the problem.
