I really tried to like this new narrator but she absolutely butchered this story. I kept looking to see how much longer the book was so I could be done. None of the characters sound remotely close to the previous 18 or so books and some things were totally changed… Aunt Peg doesn’t even have her eccentric lilt anymore…In my opinion everyone sounds like a robot. This narrator has ruined the series for me so much so that I’ll be moving on to another author. I’m just sorry that I bought the next 2 books in the series already as I’ll NEVER listen to them…(unless they were to bring back Jessica Almasey to narrate, then I would re-buy that version instead)
