I want to start off by saying, huge shoutout to Soundbooth Theater, the production company of this Audiobook. I have listened to another series narrated by Jeff Hays with Soundbooth, and they go beyond a simple reading of the story, and bring it into a full blown audio experience.
Dungeon Crawler Carl is a fun departure from your usual litRPG story. It is very much a tongue-in-cheek story that pokes fun at some of the tropes that the sub genre has spawned. Don’t let that fool you though, as the story still manages to be exciting and engaging.
Carl and Princess Donut are great contrasts to each other and I cannot wait for the next audiobook.
