This is the second book in the Shadows Ascending series, which is following Lorelei’s journey into her powers and her bond with her mate Vincent. This book explores the new budding relationship between the two now that they are able to be together as fated mates (which means fun sexy scenes) but also focuses on Lorelei’s parentage and what Lorelei’s intense powers mean for her and for the rest the supernatural community. We get to learn more about not just Lorelei and Vincent, but also the people around them. This book brings sexy, supernatural, and character development all together to create an amazing book.
I couldn’t put this book down! I love all the characters, and I just cannot wait until the next book!! Sarah Puckett continues to be an amazing narrator, bringing sexy back! Tim Paige has a hypnotic voice and he personifies Vincent on a whole new level!!! It is a MUST READ!!!! If I could give it 10 stars… I would! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
