With that said, this audiobook is fairly entertaining, but its pacing and scope are a bit lumpy. It should have either been shorter, or the plot and should have been fleshed out a little better. The author also needs to do a better job of making the world feel boundless and exciting. Don’t get me wrong… It’s worth the credit, but it fell a little short if its potential. I will most likely purchase the next installment, but I hope the author is able to smooth out the pacing and make the world more vivid in the next book. Ideally he’ll also create more of a sense of adventure with the plot.
