Charlie was a fun quick listen for me, I really enjoyed catching up with the characters from the Rydeville Elite series. Charlie & Demi’s story is an Enemies to Lovers Romance but to me it felt more like Enemies to Insta-Love. Even though the switch from hate to love was a little too fast and unrealistic for me, I still enjoyed their story. Charlie was one of the villain’s from the original Rydeville Elite Trilogy book and I think if you were to listen to this book standalone without listening to the first three books you would struggle to keep up with the back-story and supporting characters. There wasn’t as much suspense or as many plot twists in this story like in the previous books but it was good to find out more about Charlie and see him redeem himself. Sarah Puckett and Michael Gallagher were a great narrator pairing for Demi & Charlie’s chatacters.
