The story in NPC explores the concept of simulation theory and intertwines it with a biblical perspective while still managing to keep the audience entertained and challenged by philosophical questions. As an atheist, I find myself agreeing with the Christian author when he says that simulation theory is a religious ideology. It’s simply the 21 century’s version of it.
