The stories were good for the most part. The situation which forms the foundation for the series is innovative enough, allowing for believable conflicts. The characters, who should have carried the plot, were not always as engaging as I would have liked. Sometimes I rolled my eyes at them, and too often I didn’t especially believe that what they had together was more than sexual attraction. The narration was okay, especially when the actor performed the accent for the locals. Just as a point of clarity, though, archeologists and paleontologists are NOT the same. It seemed that sometimes the two words were being confused for each other or conflated to mean the same thing.
