Harloe Rae writes a powerful story of lose, healing but not living, new beginnings, lose again, and finally loving. Braelyn has suffered a tragic loss that haunts her still after several years. Brance doesn’t trust women due to past relationships. He comes across as a condescending jerk but don’t give up on him too soon. He dearly loves his 5 year old son, Ollie. When they meet it’s a friends to lovers romance. It’s Ollie’s wisdom of a child and their friends that conspire to make them see the light.
The narrators become the characters and bring them to life. Their voices portray the emotions of these characters and create a wonderful listening experience that you won’t forget. I love it when I can just sit back a let a book take me to my happy place.
I highly recommend this Audible book. It deserves more than five stars.
