For those who know the author, this book might have be a five star one. For me, comparing it to everything else I’ve listened to lately, it’s a four. The narration was good and it helped that the two main characters were narrated by different people otherwise this book would have been even more confusing than it was. The author spoke frankly about how people might feel about his book in the prologue but I wish he had said some of it before the book began. I did not realize that the book would have an intertwining of religion and sci-fi. It wasn’t a bad thing but I wasn’t prepared for it. It was a fascinating spin on the theory that we live in a simulated world and yet have the power to change it or control it, or do we?
