I tried this book based on a suggestion from a friend. I really enjoyed the magic system in place, and it melds nicely with the story. The main character is an tricky underdog and everyone loves those obviously. It does mix martial arts with magic, similar to avatar, so ita definitely inspired by avatar. If you liked the original avatar with anng story, you’ll love this!
