I should have read the full description before purchasing, I didn’t see the last line about conservatism. After listening to the first half of the first book it is obvious that the object of these books is not entertainment, but instead to confirm or indoctrinate far right beliefs upon readers. Within the first few chapters the author basically states that separation of church and state will cause the downfall of the US. That being said I am not attempting to bash anyone’s beliefs, I am just not a fan of political or religious propaganda being presented as entertainment. Again, it is 100% on me for not reading the full description before purchasing. Just had high hopes for a post-apocalyptic thriller series and instead found myself being lectured on right wing Christian philosophy.
