Part of this book was too predictable, but then there were a few twists that added some interest. Overall I’m not a big fan. I like books that don’t shy away from Christianity and extrapolate technology to what could be, which this book does. It has the right notes and good narration (though the frequent switching of main POV kept taking me a minute to reorient). I think, for me at least, the book would have benefited from a more distinct good vs evil, even or maybe especially in the spiritual realm. Overall the premise is interesting, but for reasons I can’t quite put my finger on it rang a little hollow.
