I really enjoy post-apocalyptic stories as it is just interesting to see how the survivors deal with situations. I loved Battle and Lou and the various characters Battle ran into along the way. My problem is how under appreciated he is sometimes. People’s whose lives he has saved or they are alive because he is there, then complaining and wanting him to go…or it’s a dangerous job but I don’t want to do it, yet no one appreciates what he’s gone through. ANNOYING. Not that that wouldn’t happen in real life but I’m trying to enjoy a fictional story, the operative word being fictional.
