Lily Morton and Joel Leslie are an amazing combination. I read the ebook version earlier and liked it, but Joel really brings out the characters and emotions. There’s some spookiness, but nothing too scary for this wimp. There’s humor and snark, but not as much as in some of Lily’s other books (like Oz or Rule Breaker).
