Right off, the narrator has a villain’s edge on his voice. It’s great.
Within a few chapters, he’s been betrayed by his evil sister and he needs to somehow rebuild his empire through careful application of master villainy.
Eventually, there is a trial, and then a piece of obsidian. One oh-my-god moment after another. The story does not disappoint in terms of villainy. Highly recommended.
