The storyline in this book does have triggers, and you are warned of them several times before starting. With that in mind, I believe this book was well researched and beautifully written. Gia is not only and survivor, she’s also a fighter. To watch her gain her independence back once it was taken was heartwarming, when in reality so many woman don’t get that opportunity. Having three narrators was an excellent choice, as it really did bring a new light to this story. I would highly recommend listening to this book.
