I wasn’t as captivated as I thought I’d be with this story. It had such a promising premise, but I couldn’t connect with the characters, and the story felt staggered and jagged (best way I can describe it). I thought the narration was pretty good, but I couldn’t find a way to stay intrigued enough to keep my mind from wandering a good bit. It’s possible that a physical copy would force me to pay attention more, though.
