If you follow my rants/review, then you know that I love love love dragons. I’m saddened that I only like this dragon, Drago. I enjoyed getting back story of how and why he came to be in the depths of his castle under the dragon city. I loved how he meet Carly. I loved her answers to his question even more, but there is where things ended on the love portion. I liked being introduced to the world around Carly and Drago. I even cried at a point but that is left for you to find out for yourself. There just was a feeling of disconnect with Drago that I wanted to have but didn’t.
The secondary characters of this story and future main character were all diverse and complex. The world built thus far for the seven kingdoms have me wanting more.
David Brenin for me makes the listen that much more worth the time.
