I only got a handful of chapters in before I had to stop reading.
First of all, the main character is portrayed as an angry, self-entitled, jerk. In and of itself, that wouldn’t have been a deal breaker.
However, the first character that any real dialogue is presented with is a racist charicature. It is a swindling, blackmailing, hotel manager described simply as large, greasy and with a bulbuous nose. That is how white suprimecists/anti-semites have been actively describing Arabs and Jews since before World War II.
Paried with the personality of the main character that comes across as way more than just a simple red flag.
