In Wintersteel Will Wight provides another great fast-paced action-packed story filled excitement, combat and adventure. I doubt that Mr. Wight actually reads the reviews of his readers, but I will say it anyway, now that I am waiting a year between books, I would so much appreciate a recap of the series before the start of the next book. In the audio books we are provided with outtakes or bloopers from the recordings. You can really eliminate those from this readers perspective. The narration by Travis Baldree is outstanding.
In Wintersteel Mr. Wight brings to life the tension of the tournament with the political, diplomatic and military implications to Cradle. It is a fun read that went by way to fast. I am not a huge fan of Dross but that said, this remains a very fun series and I look forward to the next book.
