If you are reading this, you probably know that both of the first books are fantastic, but also a bit of a struggle sometimes. This book is where the hero really starts to come into his own. It’s not that there aren’t challenges, but more that he is finally developing the strength to overcome his problems with more than luck and desperation. The relationships all develop in good ways, and I finished this book with a smile on my face. The juvenile humor if thankfully toned down a bit in favor of more mature comedy. Not to say that it’s pornographic or even all that romantic, just less reliant on poop jokes.
