A man decides to catch a mythical winged creature in a swamp. Yeah…that should go well…and of course, it doesn’t. As you can imagine, everything that can go wrong does go wrong for this poor sap. I honestly couldn’t stop giggling as I listened to this, which was bad because I was at work. Truly, truly hysterical!
I read this a couple years back in a collection of shorts by the author and I loved it then, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the audio version. It was a million times better. The narrator just brought it to life, the guy was epic. It was one of those stories you forget you’re listening to it, it just seems like you’re in it or watching it on television.
This now ranks as one of short stories ever. I just loved it.
