This was a delicious double feature of Dark Fantasy… I’ve actually only read a few of Kevin Candela stories, but he’s already moved up to one of my favorite short story writers, joining Seanan McGuire, Tim Pratt and Mary Robinette Kowal… I’ve heard Gary Bennett before and love him, and true to form he did not disappoint! Gary seems to have a talent of making you believe that the story is true, that he’s relaying actual events, especially with the second story, Suckers… So do yourself a favor and pick up this book… It’d be fantastic for a short commute or whenever you haven’t got a lotta time to devote to a more lengthy story!
