Lucas Mangum has proven that no topic is taboo for his writing. So be warned, twisted graphic horror is in store for you if you listen. As someone who primarily listens to horror, to include hardcore graphic horror, I did find parts of this story disturbing. Well done Mangum, you found some topics that even I don’t want to listen to.
My only complaint about the story is that it seems to sometimes take a back seat to the detailed graphic horror. I wanted more from the story and characters. I felt like the story was rushed a bit and was just there to prop up the crazy violent scenes that come out from the bowels of hell. I think I would have preferred for the story to have been longer with the characters fleshed out a bit more and more plot development .
Sean Duregger did a great job with the narration. I loved his character’s voices, the cadence he used, and the overall energy he put into each story. He really brought the story and characters to life.
