As frustrating as the incomplete feeling I felt left with at the end of book 7, this book paid it all back with interest. Honestly it did feel like it packed the extra quarter of the missing last book into this plus an additional book but it was still a great story with plenty of plot progression. Will Wight has done an amazing job with this series even book 7 wasn’t a bad book, it just felt a little incomplete. With Wintersteel he’s returned the series to exactly where it should be and set the table for a really fun book 9.
As always Travis does a great job with the narration and I love his bloopers!
