“The Borrowed World” series provides excellent PA fiction, or rather more truth than fiction in today’s world. Franklin Horton is one of the very best. In this book, multiple character arcs from the previous installments continue. But the most interesting thing is how Horton weaves them all together. The shocker character is Alice, who has turned into a Carol type character from “The Walking .” She goes from being a soft office worker to a walking warrior. That’s what makes these series so fascinating. And it’s done in a totally original way.
With Kevin Pierce at the helm, the series can’t steer wrong. He’s always stellar. Never does he give a subpar narration. Can’t wait for the next installment.
