I like the world the author is envisioning. Its in a similar vein to Super Powered by drew hayes or My Hero Academia. I love how they got their powers, how their the underdogs or outsiders, even the world feels lived in and alive. However, the story is all over the place. Story flow is shuffled in the first few chapters. The character relationship and dynamics seems forced and oversimplified that it doesnt seem organic or naturally occuring. Even their motive for making a team with complete strangers seems a bit shallow. The mystery of the story doesnt leave enough clues for me to want more as not even a partial answer was given for the motives of the antagonist. I hated the tiger girl for the reason for her betrayal. It seemed petty even though her back story sys shes a tough girl trying to help people. Its hypocritical or an oxymoron. I hope the next book resolves these issues.
