I’m a huge fan of Steve Jackson. He writes with a lot of heart, while giving the reader an excellent account of the subject matter.

I was teary by the end of this one. He pays tender tribute to the victims while remaining objective in the narrative. I applaud him for that. You can tell these stories really get to him as well.

True crime is a tough genre, but it is also a window into the dark side of humanity. It exists whether we care to acknowledge it or not. I learn a lot from this type of book.

Love Kevin Piece, as always. He’s the best of the best.
