As is a theme with many of the books in the series the third person commentary in the conversations of : ………Jim said, ……Jane replied,……..Sam said with passion etc gets very tiresome and detracts from the plot.
But that is what it is and must contribute a few thousand words in a rollicking space drama that has a few books released each year.
In the text version it may not be as annoying.
