Narrator was great. It started slow and was a little tricky in the beginning because it was almost like two separate storylines were taking place in one book. You don’t quite get the full understanding until about half way through.
You are kept in suspense the whole entire way. The budding relationship between Mike and Tom builds from the beginning and builds into a much bigger plot. At each turn there was a “who done it?” situation and “what the heck just happened?” moments which keeps you engrossed and on the edge of your seat. There were several spots that it was just too suspenseful/exciting that I couldn’t wait to hear what was coming.
It took me three tries to get through it because I felt too lost with the two storylines in the beginning and thought 12 hours was really dragging out the main characters coming together. I was patient this time and kept listening and I am so glad I did. Best suspense listen I have had to date and I am an avid audiobook listener!
