So first of, this is entertaining enough. The action moves along at a decent pace. The readers are doing a good job.

The problem, though, is that the story is pointless, shallow, and makes some odd leaps. Even considering the material it deals with. It also adds nothing new. It’s predictable from the first moment to the last. There are no surprises, no unexpected twists or turns. Zero. There is certainly no philosophical depth, no discussion of the implications of the universe the author creates. It’s a quintessential “I am thirteen and this is deep” novel.

I’ve listened to far worse Audible books, but this is definitely in the lower tiers. Grab it if it ever ends up as a freebie, but your money is better spent on something else.
