Well worth one’s time. Arturian is well developed emotionally. Throughout the series, he accepts overly long delays in chasing his lost kids. Given that he doesn’t know where they are and the forces arrayed against him that is reasonable. A true work of literature, eg. Dresden File or Monster Hunter International, develops the secondary characters and the heroes interaction a with the more. But sometimes that makes them less fun and less of a light read.
