Fulcrum of Light is a fun and fantastic continuation to the story started in Tribute at the Gates, picking up right where the original left off. The story continues to rise while still including more worldbuilding that reveals more, but not all, of the secret history that lead this world to present the situation. There are hints at deeper, darker truths to come about the origin of Ryl and the other Tributes powers. While Ryl attains a place of temporary safety in this portion of the story and continues to grow in power and as a person and leader, he faces very real and human challenges in addition to the monsters of the world. Ryl’s story is not over yet, and I think the most interesting revelations are yet to come. Looking forward to the rest of this series and highly recommend it.
