Without a doubt this is the best book in The Mad Mick series so far. In my review of book 2 I was critical of how over the top and abrasive Barb’s character was. As if he read my mind, Barb’s character undergoes personal growth in this 3rd book.

What I liked most was the build up of the battle between the Mad Mick and The Bond, the villains of the story. I won’t give anything away, but it’s fair to say that the final showdown is a work of art.
