Each book seems to be getting worse,
More focus is being shifted to the worst parts of the series, the real world corporate espionage stuff remains boring but gets more focus than ever, the poorly developed romance subplot gets some extra attention, and the oren insanity mind control plotline also gets some more poor handling.
But there is some good stuff too some key plotlines get resolved even if not in a particularly graceful way.
