Talon’s a gladiator, Talon’s a fighter, Talon’s a slayer, Talon’s babe magnet. Everything and everyone else are support actors in this class B pulp fiction novel. With that out of the way, A. A. Warren’s writing style was okay and the story concept itself held the promise of being a unique experience but never quite lifted itself from the baser pulp fiction standing.
Travis Baldree’s performance was very good but even his gifted talents couldn’t overcome the shortcomings in the novel.
