Narrated so well by Joel this book is a must read! He managed to pull out every emotion from the characters, and his accent work is as usual- spot on.

This was my second time reading this story and I think I liked it even more in audio.

This book was really sweet, despite the anger I felt towards Ethan’s fiance’ at the beginning.

I feel like the author did a good job describing the difficulties of a hard of hearing character, and it was interesting and enlightening to learn more about the lives of people who are not like myself. I enjoyed the exploration of Australia, how it was described shows the longing Ethan feels towards it and the place he is at in his life at the moment.

There was a lot of growing on his part, but also realizing he has been trying to hide himself from the truth, something I could relate to and liked that the betrayal by his ex-fiance’ was not a black and white thing, as bad as it was.

Clay is very sweet and warm, his acceptance of Ethan and empathy towards him is amazing, their romance was so touching to read about.

Enjoyed it a lot, recommend to all May/December lovers out there, and people who are looking for a diverse MC.
