Lily Morton’s books are always fun, funny, and sweet. Oz is my favorite character of hers and one of my favorites ever, particularly as performed by Joel Leslie. He’s quick, hilarious, and full of heart. And Silas is equally wonderful; the opposite of the standard “snobbish aristo who needs to be brought down a peg,” he’s a shabbily-dressed vet perplexed by the financial problems of his ancestral pile. Together they’re marvelous. Such a great performance of a fun book.
