This book was fantastic. If you have read ‘Ready Player One’ and are looking for a similar book, this is it. Just with a more sadistic protagonist.. The fight scenes were awesome, and the large scale battles were even better. The author tries to bridge the gap between in-game life and IRL life, thinning the line between them both. Love the concept of the sort of rouge Ai that controls the game. Seriously, if you like Lit RPG’s this is a super fun listen.
I know there are a lot of reviews that say they don’t like the narrators voice, but personally I had no problem with it. Sometimes is was a little off color from what I was expecting the character to sound like- especially with reading the dialogue of the main female character- but other than that it was good.
