The first in a series. The mechanics utilized in the LITRPG, as well as the small details of ‘exposed code’ are very entertaining and a fun additional twist on the genre standard. The situation of the plot, as well as the detail in the NPCs give this series an amazing depth, and really made me enjoy the story.
The performances by the three narrators are fantastic. I deeply enjoy when female characters are voiced by women and male characters voiced by men. This small detail always makes an audiobook much more immersive and enjoyable for me. The added joy of having both a standard narrator, as well as a different individual performing the male characters gave this series an amazing irresistible draw for me. I purchased the second in the series immediately after finishing the first. I wish the third were ready now!
