While technically a standalone, I’m 100% sure Franiic would be better if Book 1 Frenzy was read first (I haven’t read Frenzy). The story in Frantic is compelling with the fight between nature and technology. The bond between Triss and her mates was interesting with it almost seeming like werewolves but also not. If you’re looking for a sexy read that’s filled with adventure and protective alphas then pick up Frantic…but maybe start with Frenzy.
