Once again we’re back in Beacon Hill, only this time we get to learn about Isaac. As a recovering alcoholic, we get to share in his struggle to find his new “normal”. But he’s not alone. Master Batiste is always by his side.
I really enjoyed learning more about the other characters in this series. And Isaac is one that needed to have his happily ever after.
Joel’s narration was great as always. He did a wonderful job of making sure Isaac didn’t sound like Angel. You could always tell the difference between the two. And while I’m partial to Simeon’s accent, Batiste’s can through just as nice. Listening to a book narrated by Joel is always a treat.
