Cringy. Predictable. Skeevy Male Narration.

First off, the male narrator is awful, but I pushed through since the first half was pretty good. It took a wrong turn when her dad refused to believe her. After that, things got way too cringy and overly predictable. Everything that can go wrong, does. And pictures? Really? Who would be so stupid?

For being such a control freak, Mr. James spins way off balance way too fast. He makes choices that are highly unbelievable and risky for his character. He acts like he is trying to get caught. And Remmy does not help matters. She is supposedly smart, but she is extremely childish and has no real substance besides her knee-jerk drama.

Also, it bothers me that they have no intellectual connection or depth within the relationship. It is all sexual. They are utterly obsessed with looks. That is it. He keeps saying she is a woman, but he falls in love with a kid that needs a sugar daddy. It is superficial and weird. Relationships should be more than two pretty people.
