Oh My goodness! LJ Evans’s My Life As A Rock Album is so good that I found it difficult to stop listening! As with her other books, this one is inspired by Bon Jovi songs. Seth Carmen is a rude, solitary, recovering alcoholic artist with a dark, tragic past. PJ Hensley is a student focused on graduating from college. PJ lost her parents when she was 13, was raised by her brother Justice and his roommate and suffered while in High school. She is trying to put her past behind her, but still has demons. She’s a blogger who meets Seth to write a piece on him and his art. Their first meeting didn’t go well. She was not impressed with him, but his art was beautiful! He insists on another meeting. He is fascinated with PJ and she is attracted to Seth against her will. They eventually start a relationship and move in together, but it is not without problems. Because of her past, PJ is very independent, and insists on paying her way. Despite the fact that Seth’s art has made him very rich. Add in the fact that PJ has a stalker that she hasn’t told Seth or her family about, and there is major drama This book is wonderful. It’s so emotional. Every time I read or listen to one of Miss Evans I say it’s the bet one, they just keep getting better! Sarah Puckett was superb as usual, and I have found a new narrator in Neill Thorne! Don’t miss this series!
