The author’s descriptive prowess paints a fantastic viewpoint of the book while also allowing your imagination to work and create the landscape and events in your own mind!
The books beginning is set in an ordinary day where people are leading their ordinary , fast pace and overly taxed lives beset in a background control by modern convenience and electronic trespass.
Then the book delves into what I feel would be the most likely next step that would take place after a week or two into such a situation, with chaos and life and death decisions being made multiple times per day.
The progression of the book into a conclusion that rests on hope and community is what I think mankind was put on this planet for and the creator is truly shown to be the master artist in painting a picture of a simpler life!
I have placed this series among the Mount Rushmore of post apocalyptic books that includes the 10 book series by A.American called Going Home .
It is truly a must read!
