I don’t write many reviews, but when I feel I need to it’s with purpose. this book really takes off in the second half and I’m very excited to see what is in store for the next.

One of the authors strong points is his ability to write about combat effectively. Jeff, Dorrie, and Annie are wonderful readers, and we’re the main reason I’ve continued along the chronicle, but this third book is just so well built up. I didn’t realize how into this series I would be but the writing is becoming so exciting that I find myself trying to contain excitement towards the next book. I’ve listened to a good amount of audio books now, and this one crawled into the top 3 easily after this installment.
