I bought this series (the prequel and book 1) because Audible recommended them to me. They sounded good, but I thought they would be more of the survivalist or prepper genre. They are not. Just a story of Chinese invasion of California in a dystopian future. NOT MY STYLE!! I couldn’t get past the prequel.
