As Our World Falls was an enjoyable listen. The storyline is intense, suspenseful, and believable, and neither EMP nor zompoc, but more of a techno-apocalypse. Alex and Sophie are confronted with enough conflicts to keep the reader and listeners on edge. Elisha, their brave and spirited daughter, is still in California, grappling to find safety and to survive. There are some twists, and the suspense is great, you’d never know what the family will have to face next, and a poor decision can put their lives at risk. I am definitely looking forward to the next book.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a fan of Kevin Pierce. That being said, he is a talented narrator, and with his telling, he brought the characters and story to life. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and entertaining listen, one I highly recommend. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
