As always, Kevin brings you right to the action. He brings the characters to live and allows you to be there with the family.

Now, about the story –

This is a story of a family, fractured but family traversing the nation to find their daughter after the country has come under a suspicious cyber attack. It finds Alex and Sophie in the Denver area, it is being attacked by drones. They find a girl who leads them to a camp, they go with her in an effort to not be attacked by the drones. The compound they end up, isn’t all it cracked up to be and the action heats up.

We find the other part of the story, having the crew fight the Cartel and deal with an enter intra-family squabble. Childhood friends are who they seem. A massive fight ensues and puts everyone at risk.

We end up with the start of a love triangle.

While the story is laid out good and keeps it moving along, it seems at the end they just rolled the fast forward button and made everything OK, so we can get to the next book. The story is very short, only 5 hours and a few minutes. Leaving you wondering what happened to the rest of the picture.

I like this story a lot. The length and the chopped ending left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope more for the continuation.
